That's exactly what it feels like.Persevere! As my friend (currently welding new sills to his P5B) likes to say, "a small bite of the elephant every day".
I'm getting there though.

Thanks.Looking good.
I've seen worse too. The 2000tc in my profile pic had so many bad repairs that I gave up at the time as I didn't have the resources to do the welding which I do now.
I am indeed.Looks like you’re making up for it now!
Fantastic job you’re doing.
Good luck and enjoy.
My hands not to steady to be honest but my reactalight helmet, if that's how you say it broke the week before. You must have a steady hand to use a handheld visor. I need to use both hands to steady the torch when I'm welding.
Great work by the way. Been there and done that a few times.
Glad your enjoying it.Hi stue I am also restoring a p6b see project t rex. I love watching you on YouTube I am behind you as finding time is my problem.
I am fitting replacement D post at the moment as it was rusty top and bottom. I will post sum more picture soon.
Keep up the grate work as it gives me the drive to keep going on mine to.
I have a mechanical one to go in so it will be up for grabs.
If you're not going to use the electronic speedo transducer, I was asked for one recently and I couldn't supply, so if you want to sell, I can ask, and if he is still in need, put you in touch.
I wish I had more time to spend on it to be honest but try to do a bit once a week.Hi stue can you please slow down you are making me look very slow.
Like me you are finding a lot more rust than expected due to previous poor repairs.
I found four patches on top of each other on the near side rear sill.
Keep up all the good work and hope to see you and your car one day.
