Realised about the spring but was unaware about spring as i didnt refurbish the calipers.All looking good, except that there should be a shim on the front pad slipper, and that quadrant return spring should be hooked behind the caliper body.
I dont mind at all.I feel a bit churlish pointing those sort of things out when the quality of your work is so high, the problem is that if I notice them I can't help it.
So......There should also be a special washer (sort of egg-shaped with a small hole in the small end) under the OS caliper forward cover bolt, that a spring from the handbrake crossbar hooks into, and that will be a lot easier to fit on the bench than on the car.

Silly question but whats the orientation of the little lock tabs on the sliders for the pads?
