rp6c rally beamish may 20th 2012

Entrants are starting to book in already,we hope to see as many of you as possible as we want to make this a biggy for 2012,open to all rovers and the 75/zt club will be coming aswell, open to all rovers thanks :D

Can anyone give me some idea of how much there is to see at the museum. Will I be able to do it justice in one day, or would it be worth spending the weekend there? It's a round trip of around 700 miles so want to make the most of it.

http://www.beamish.org.uk/ Not sure if you have seen their site, this will show you whats their. Its a good show and the museum is not a museum as such. It is a street having houses and shops which you go in and look around. These have all gone back in time including the employees in period dress. Obviously the time spent looking in the shops and houses depends on the individual, I would say if you arrived their fairly early you will see what you want in the day, but dont leave early as the last few years when the public have gone they allow the cars up onto the street in front of the shops for some photos. Not to be missed.

they also have a mine you can go down and have a look to see what it used to be like, like mick says its not to be missed :D

Also not forgetting all the wonderful Rovers to see,
not sure at this point if I can make it, would it be possible to get in on the day bri and join the rally? if I can make it it will probably be last minute.com.
I've been to Beamish a couple of times before when visiting my inlaws in Northumberland, it is a great place and would be nice to take some pics of buttercup alongside the shops etc

Thats a shame, how late can I leave it as its a bit of a trek for me for one day and will need to arrange a stop over and the funds need to be spare

Hi v8guy,you can leave it until thursday the 17th may at the very latest so we can post the tickets in time, its beamish themselves that check the tickets for you getting in hope to see you there 8)

Mick, the only reason I was so quick off the mark with the link was that I was filling the entry form in
Posted it this morning.
