RP6C Southern get together, Sunday 15th August.

We went to the Cranleigh show a few years back in our Oxford Traveller, quite a nice day out. Bruiser should be a contender to make the trip so we'll pencil it in.

In view of my recent electrical let down and inability to get to Longbridge this weekend  I figure that the car owes me a day out so this get together could be the answer, I'm up for it, keep us posted on details.

Great. As soon as we've worked out how we're going to work the applications etc. I'll update the forum.

Thanks
Nick

All will be revealed as soon as we've got the details together (and checked with the organiser he's happy for an invasion of P6's)

Are we now the RP6C Southern branch ?
Does that make our Shepperton get - together a club meeting ?

I believe the answer to that one is yes Dave!

See you Tuesday.

I'm keeping my eye on this thread but it all depends on paint hitting some of my spare panels before then

Hi all,

Can I add my name to the list, at least provisionally anyway? Picked up my '72 3500 Auto today, after being without a Rover for about eighteen months I could do with 'stretching my legs' a bit

Cheers, Nidge

Excellent. More to follow shortly.

I'm sure we'll get Mr. Grifterkid out for this one, he'll love it.

OK Gents

Spoken to Dave last night at Shepperton and he will co-ordinate the passes for this one.

It's a free event, but you'll need to send Dave a stamped addressed envelope together with a note stating your registration number and what breed of P6 the car is, so Dave can mail your pass to you in advance.

So please send a stamped address envelope to:

Dave Griffin
Rover P6 Club Southern Rally
Patterdale
6 Milden Close
Frimley Green
CAMBERLEY
Surrey GU16 6PX

Mark Gray is putting an application form together for 'Driving Force' which he'll no doubt post a link to on this forum and http://www.p6club.com very shortly.

Look forward to seeing you there!
Cheers
Nick

Folks
Speaking to Dave tonight - quite a few now coming, but we have room for 30 cars, so there's space for more. Come down and say hello!

Dave asks that you please enclose an SAE with an A5 or larger envelope for the tickets.

Cheers
Nick

Got my ticket through today, looking forward to a good bash. August is going to be a busy one, got three weekends booked up already. Thanks to everyone for the tickets :D See you soon.

I've just seen Dave and there are still places for a few more if anyone would like to join us. Mrs. Chairman is coming too, apparently :D

Cheers

Busy sending bookings off today. LDD is now booked for the Cranleigh Lions on the 15th August (booked online), forms sent off for Spen King Run and RP6C National. So thats the Rover sorted. Now just got to get the Wolesley 1100 and Morris Eight bookings sorted

Neil

Hello,
I'm booked in for this one, albeit with a Triumph Pi. I thought the on-line booking was amazingly quick, with the ticket printed-off instantly at home :D

I'll pop over and say hello.
