The weather may be grim and Xmas almost upon us, but that does mean it really isn't that long until the Icebreaker:

The 2012 event was sunny and almost warm. Let's hope for a repeat of that in 2013.

"The seventh start-of season RSR ‘Icebreaker’ event at Whitewebbs Museum, Whitewebbs Road, Enfield, Middlesex, EN2 9HW.

Come rain or shine, start the season with this now traditional informal gathering at the fascinating Whitewebbs Museum. Last year's meeting saw Rovers from 1934-2003 - all models and conditions are welcome. We start at 10am and finish by 4pm. For details of the museum and directions see the web site http://www.whitewebbsmuseum.co.uk.

RSR contact is John Bedford: johnrobertbedford@gmail.com"

I'll try and make this again, not sure what in yet :)
A ROVER of course....sure you will have one for test driving if nothing else nudge nudge

I'll be there - can't decide whether or not shiver in LDD or bask in the modern heating efficiency of the neutered Tomcat

A few pictures from today, my first time but what a great turnout and a whole range of cars despite the artic conditions, and as usual I only remember to take pictures when cars start leaving

Great day out, turnout gets better every year.

Temperatures were very challenging, so thanks to all for turning out :)

Another great Whitewebbs meeting which was a tad chilly, but nice and dry. I was amazed at the turn out of really nice cars in such inclement weather conditions. I think when I arrived in my rather tired and unwashed SD1 the chaps on the gate thought I was someone trying to blag their way in with their daily driver :? But fortunately they soon noticed the Rover badge :D

I think a few of us grabbed some real bargains at the autojumble shop. What a great aladdin's cave of all sorts...

Looking forward to some sunny weather now...oops, perhaps I shouldn't have said that

Shame about the rust on that 620 - a rare turbo version as well .I've seen others rot out there .

Yep, mine's got a rustspot there as well, but being black it doesn't show as much.

Those photos have made me feel really homesick. Whose is the white V8 with the registration '3500 RU'? Surely that is 350 ORU with a bit of typographic jiggery-pokery? Nice motor, what mine might've looked like had I kept it in the original colourscheme. Some really nice cars there.

Well done RSR! Great day. Thanks especially to Mr Bedford of the Rover Sports Register for making the arrangements with the museum and of course Whitewebbs themselves.

Thanks also to the 14 P6s that braved the cold and joined the masses of other older Rovers there on Sunday and to Guy Valentino for coming all the way from Norfolk.

Hope everyone got around all 4 floors of the museum including the basement containing the cars. Someone told me they thought it was very small but it turned out they had only found the floor by the retaurant and thought this was the whole thing!

Why not join us at our next outing. Older Rovers as well as P6s are very welcome. So far I have 24 definite P6's and over 30 people coming for Drive it Day on Sunday 21 April at the DeHavilland Mosquito Museum just off junction 22 of the M25 not far from the M1,A1M and A40 but no older Rovers have as yet registered for the event. Where are you all? It should be a great day out!

If anyone else wants to come along on Drive it Day please contact me asap by e-mail or pm from the forum. Fuller details are in the 2013 P6ers from the Case is Altered Outings List at viewtopic.php?f=29&t=15051

Great photos Mike!

Best wishes and hope to see you all again soon

Mr Osborn won't like you suggesting he's got a dodgy number plate !
