I had a great day out, and saw some fantastic cars at the rally. It was good to meet a lot of fellow owners too.
The weather was changeable while we were there to say the least, and this appeared to have adversely affected numbers, unfortunately. However, everyone had a good day, and there were some amazing cars on display. The standard in the P6 class was very high indeed, and it was a good chance to meet fellow owners. I enjoyed my day, and the car behaved faultlessly all day, cruising happily on the motorway. 8)
My favourite car was undoubtedly Brian Barker's masterclass-winning white 3500S. I was impressed with the 4500S, quite possibly one of the best Q-cars that I've seen!

Congratulations Bri! I see another trophy for the Barker sideboard :D

Also good to see Brenda's Gold car (number 100).

Nice photos Frazzle, I recognised your car from the forum but when I was going to say hello you appeared to have been cornered by the tall guy with two P6 both needing welded.

Considering the amount of rain we have been having up in Scotland it was a reasonable turn out. Good to see the Lads from the North drive their cars to the show and still have them in top condition.

Very impressed with Brians car, He won the Master class and Car of the show and just missed out on the entrants choice award.

Thanks to all those who managed along, next year is a new venue.

Colin

excellent pics fraser, nice to see you mate and hope to see you at some more shows this season, good show and nice to see everyone again, thanks for everyone who was involved in organising this premier event :D :D

Though I was only there for last couple of hours, it was good to see a few people and some very nice cars. Thanks for the pics Frazzle. Of course, hats off to the organisers for all the time end effort put in.

Excellent photos, and a good turnout, I dread to think what it cost Trevor to drive that 4500S up from Yorkshire  He's put a lot of effort into that car now, it's really looking good.

Some familiar faces and cars there.

p.s. What were the design team at Rover thinking when they did the "cyclops" P4 ???

Was a fine day, considering the blustery weather!! Sorry i didn't get a chance to speak to many of the P6 guys, still not to sure who's who  I ended up taking both cars, my brother drove my 75 down and i drove the P6. As usual the sat. nav. led me into trouble a couple of times on the way in :x Was glad to get home in the end considering the massive missfire and backfiring that developed on leaving Falkirk, made the 80 mile trip up the road fairly stressfull !! All better now though after fittting the simonbbc electronic ignition kit( THANKS!! to Tony V8P6B ) Nice to see Brenda's car (number 100) and managed to chat to her for a little while, sure she said it was the first time the car had been shown in public for 4 years so lucky as well. Hope to attend next year and meet a few more of you :D

On the off-chance gents - has anyone got a good shot of Brenda's gold car (No. 100, EXC525C), at this event they can send me.
