All the Entry forms are now available on the SARR website.

There is a few changes to the classes this year but hopefully being in the west for the first time in years there will be a big turn out of all models.

Book early if you are looking at attending the evening meal as places are limited.

For those looking to stay you will be spoiled for choice with Hotels and B&B's.

Drop me a PM if you are needing any help or need more information.

Colin

Rally Dinner 2012
This year you can enjoy an informal dinner followed by a prize quiz at the Holiday Inn, East Kilbride ( a short distance form the rally field)

Not log now until the SARR.

Looking at the entry returns we have only 9 P6 pre-registered.

I am sure we will get quite a few late entries but if you are looking to come and do the dinner try not to leave it too late.

If you have any issues with getting an entry form etc let me know and I can try to help.

Colin

Colin, I had registered for Sunday this weekend. However, JVY is still not ready. So, I'm afraid I won't be there :( . I plan to spend any spare time this weekend and some time that I have off work next weekned trying to get JVY back on the road for June. Best regards to all P6-ers (& other marques) who do manage to make it.

I've not pre-booked, but only today have I been definitely given the day off work. Is it ok to turn up and fill in the forms on arrival, or is it better to fill in a form, and email it?

Thanks to all those who came along to the Rally today, nice to see old friends and new faces. Sorry if I didn't get a chance to get round or say hello to everyone.

The standard of cars is getting better every year I hope you all had a great day.

Colin

p.s I didn't take any photos so if anyone can post a few up that would be great.

Absolutely brilliant show, some astounding cars, and superb weather! I had a great day out, and got a chance to catch up with plenty of people I'd not seen for a while! Sorry for the massive number of photos, but I did my best to get photos of all of the cars, except for a few which seemed to have crowds around them constantly.
If anyone would like high-res copies of any photos emailed to them, please do feel free to ask! :D

Top pics as usual and a very impressive selection of vehicles 8)

I really need to make the trip one year :)

My favourites? The red wire wheel S1 TC, the pair of S1 Landies and the red P2.... oh and of course that lovely bright yellow 2000 Auto :D

Sorry there were so many beautiful P5's there Frazzle  Perhaps later.

Chris

Great photos as always Fraz :D

A glorious day out and it was great to meet and chat with so many rovering friends. Congrats to Barry and Brian. Brian's masterclass win has to rank as one of the best achievements for a P6 as the masterclass contained a stunning array of cars, inluding 3 S2 P6s. They'll be gunning for you next year Brian but the hat-trick has to be on :D

I met a young girl who contacted me through this forum about using Lady C for her wedding in August and she seems quite chuffed to have seen the car. I was also approached by a company that sources period cars for films. He was looking for a white S1 car to use as a police patrol car for a scene they are shooting up my way next week. The film is being produced by Malcolm MacDowell (of A Clockwork Orange fame) and will star Gary Oldman. I'll let you know how it turns out.

Thanks to the organisers for a great day out.

Cheers Dave, nice to see you there mate, yes really didnt think i would have got that again, chuffed that i did tho, excellent turnout of cars,it was boiling, all in all cracking day,the v8 performed magnifacintly there and back, :D

Lovely pics and looks like a great day. The cameron green 3500S, reg WAG used to be my car. Great to see it again! Its a special one, I restored it in 2005 (ish) using an unused factory base unit. A fabulous car, still miss it.

Well i made it there and back about 160 miles round trip but a couple of unplanned detours added a wee bit extra :x Bloody sat. nav. . Was a damned hot day though face is about Monza red the day
Good to catch up with people and meet a few more P6 owners, congratulations to Brian and Barry and all other winners and to Frazzle for his bargain hunting skills  also thanks to Dave for a shot of octane booster due to garage having no premuim unleaded and faced with a very hot journey home thought it prudent but car behaved really well on its longest drive in the year since i've had him.
Great pictures from Frazzle so not much to add but will put in a link to my photos in case anyone wants a look .
Thanks and hope to see you all next year
Cheers Tam.
