Ladies and Gentlemen,

I am please to announce that the date and venue for the S.A.R.R 2010 has been confirmed.

We will hold the rally 29th & 30th May at the Falkirk Wheel.

We have made a few changes to the awards process for 2010 which should make the rally more enjoyable for all attending.

Bring it on!
We'll be there in 2010. Hopefully make the Saturday night meal as well, something we've not done in the two years I've managed to get there.

:D

Excellent news!

And a great venue. A magnificent piece of British engineering............ and a big wheel thing.....

See you there

Dave

Is there many owners on the forum going along?

In a change from previous years it looks like P6 cars are going to be out numbered by P4 and P5's.

Shout up if your going or thinking about going.

Colin

Hi,

I will be coming up from Camberley with Anne and also Martin Smith & his partner Janet will be coming up from Surrey and Brenda will also be coming to the event so that makes another 3 P6's.

Dave

I've unfortunately had to cancel my planned trip to the SAAR. Hopefully next year. Rhys and I will be at Beamish though - we're booked in.

Cheers
Nick

That is a shame Nick.

P6 entrants are marginally out numbering the others.

I am looking forward to it, though there is no chance my p6 will be there, I was at the workshop getting an MOT done on Tuesday and she is still gathering dust.

my v8 is booked in but havin a little trouble with it at the moment,so would i be able to bring my 2000 if the v8 isnt fixed thanks Bri :D

its poorly at the moment, its been missing coughing spluttering etc,i have just set the timing up and it seems alot better but on tickover its putting every now and then out the exhaust,i had the co machine up the exhaust and its pushing 7% out and i have tried to lean the mixtures and its just wandering from 6% to 9%,so i have booked into a garage to see if they can balance the carbs,so hopefully fingers crossed it mite be there on sunday, and to top it off my series 1 has ran out of mot to day ha hope to see you sunday Brian Barker :D

Here are some of my pics from the SARR this year. Congrats to Bri for the class win with his V8 (well done for getting it there), closely followed by Barry Gill's lovely S1 2000TC and 3rd was my personal favourite a 1966 S1 2000SC....lovely.

Enjoy and more on my photobucket site:

This car had been off the road for 23 years, was MOT'd and driven straight up for the rally, BRILLIANT!

Hi All,

It was great to see so many people turn out, very good selction of P6.

I was a bit snowed under looking after the new voting system, I was hoping to chat to some for the Irish members who came over for the day. I hope it was as good as they hoped it would be.

The rally seems to get better every year and the standard of the cars is very impressive. I will definatley have a P6 there next year..
