Series 1 Rover SD1 alloy wheels wanted...

Not quite P6 I know but I am keen to get a set (5) of the early kind ('76-'81) of Rover SD1 alloy wheels (and nuts) to fit to a potential purchase I have my eye on...!

If anybody out there could help that would be great...!!! Many thanks in advance...

I always wonder why these were not offered as an option on the later Series 2 P6's seeing as the design for this wheel was pretty much ready to go by 1975...?!

Give Mick (Happydays) a pm, he has just found me 4 for sale near him, but I only want one and the seller doesn't want to split.

Cheers, John

New project? am I going to have the pleasure of passing a P6 again every morning when I drive through Walton?

I wish these had been for sale 2yrs ago, could have saved me a fortune. Worth a bid, taking the £30 carriage into account.

John.

I managed to get a set of 5 Vitesse wheels for £75.00 from fleabay. They are often available so worth keeping an eye out for.

I had to go to Coventry to get them and the tyres were a bit old, so I had to get a set of new tyres. One of them was dated 1994 IIRC.

It was the £60 a rim for stripping and powder coating, which was actually reasonable, after I had bought the rims Richard.

John.

Ah, I see. I just bolted mine straight on.

They do need a bit of a refurb, but they were ok for the time being.

Might do them over the winter.

I know a bloke with a great big stack of the things (series 1 and 2), but he's here in NZ...

These are just the ones that can't fit in the garden shed. Or the second garden shed behind the camera.
