Sidelight assembly

Does anyone have a front sidelight assembly they'd be willing to part with?
With or without lenses.
Alternatively, has anyone managed a repair if the socket/holder has disentegrated?

We had a thread on this a while ago
Suggestion was to get a bulb holder and fix it into the old backing with epoxy or similar

I thought someone would have attempted it.
I'm guessing there must be metal to metal contact to earth it to through the main assembly?
I asked this seller, who confirmed this to be the correct size bayonet fitting, so probably go this route for the MOT at least

No need to earth it to the main assembly - take the earth wire from the bayonet holder and run it back to earth anywhere you like
