We may have a sisal carpet enthusiast representing the transatlantic sisal carpet industry who I note has just joined the forum - step up Jennifer! I know this from another forum I post on and the response she has posted to a 2 y/o thread that had the words 'sisal carpet' in it. I wonder if she will search for 'sisal carpet' and post a reply.
