Someone's havin' a larf

That's for the restored car. You'd need to look at some of their other work and decide if it is on the money or not.

Well spotted. I nearly passed out from the shock. Even so, it's still a lot of money for what you get.

I know we don't view classics int he same vein as moderns but what do you think are the worst value-for-money classic cars?

Worth the price for an early car. The 3.8 flat floors are worth even more.

It's the difference between makes and models of classic cars.

Even the new air con kit in my E-type will be costing me around £5,000. But, it will make a huge difference to the car, and how driveable it is in the summer months, so it's worth it.

I am sure 90% of that will polish out! a few hours with elbow grease can work wonders

There was an early project car that fetched that much at auction a few months back.

It'll be a nice car when it's done but I don't think it's worth that much personally.

Hi, Minivan,s are pretty rare nowadays, 'How many left' says 250 taxed and 120 sorned, there are
lots of panels to repair the floor and suchlike available. This has the all important van bit.

Before I clicked the link I thought it might be a logbook sale, but with the sort of numbers that still
exist you would be hard put to find one to nick to ring it!!

I take your point about the 2200 price, but what caught my eye on the page was the ad for this -

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ROVER-3500S-M ... 1c49d1b70a

Plus there is a set of 6"x14" Minilites and a LT77 5 speed and auto prop available under separate
negotiation.

That 3500S could make someone an excellent rolling resto, especially considering most of the hard work seems to have been done.

See if the buyer turns up on here.
