spiget bush crankshaft

Hi all
Fitting 5 speed manual sdi G/box to my P6 3500,S how far does the spiget bush have to be inside the crank end flush or fully in please advise if you can .

It's not critical as it's only there to support the front end of the 1st motion shaft, but you can either a) look at the position of the old one and knock the new one as far as that one is, or b) knock it all the way in, in which case you'll probably find that is the same as it would be in position "a",
 
Once it's in place you need to set, or at least check, the running clearance, to avoid any problems with clutch spin. (Even though this is less likely to be a problem with the LT77 as the spigot is so much smaller than the P6 one.)

Hi Roy
Will post some pics over next few day I pushed the bearing 1/2 mm in as Harvey suggested Gearbox in place with new proshaft and SDI Bushes will make up a mounting plate and share with you all. This is a easy modification update the main show holder is getting the speedo recalibrated as Speedy cables currently have a 20 day return window
