Spotted a VIP on carandclassic. Bit expensive through!

Excellent grip though, as demonstrated by the excellent photography… I'd expect much better car and advertisement presentation at that price!

If it's a really good car, with a bit of thought and presentation it might achieve that price, but I think a little more attention to detail is required.

Agreed. For the price, the advert has poor photos and text. If presented (and finished off) properly, it would be a belter.

Detailed pics of interior and engine bay at least would be required, preferably the right way up.

It's been up for sale on Mark Gray's website since June 2014, with an asking price of £5000. AND it has the front chrome strip and badge that seem to have gone missing since..

Hmm, £16k spent..... That implies a quite extensive bodywork. I have no troubles with panelwork and a respray but seriously at that money you are going to want a fairly original baseunit. I also have no trouble with well rebuilt cars but If its reconstructed extensively, that's going to put a cap on its value in my book. Any 5-figure car is going to need to be mostly as it left the factory.

And the big question given the total unavailability of replacements has to be the interior.....

This car MUST surely be known in the club and on this forum?

Having considered the market (ebay) I've put it up for £3900 on car and classic as its free and I've got a few months to sell her before I lose storage space for good.

Good luck... Will be sad to see you sell it but I guess you'll get something fun with the proceeds:)
