still having problems

ok so in my other thread i was having problems getting the car started, well we now have it started and ticking over revs freely took it up the road it went ok thought i'd got round the block and it did the same thing, lost power and would not pick up speed, knocked it in to neutral and will rev fine back in to gear and will struggle again, is this a carb issue?? i. e jets blocked maybe??? or am i facing another issue here maybe an ignition issue ?

I had very similar issues when I first got my rover. especially if i pulls dup at lights when it cut out. or after driving for a while ( 10 mins+) stop and then say an hour later ..it start fine, rev's freely then about 1minute into driving..looses power. in neutral ok. or if i try and keep going t cuts out.. was eventually traced to fuel supply issues and a possible air leak! have refurbished carbs. new fuel filter pump etc . new intake gasket . so far it runs ok or did.. new issue .it now cuts out at light again and on drive when pulling in. have to use choke when driving as low power.. was pulling hair out and thinking maybe a nice match... then i saw fuel all over drive. seems carb has decided to dump fuel from over flow pipes ( both) so potential carb strip again.. check pump. pressure etc. sheesh . still I am averaging over 200 miles a year and about erm.. 100 gallons a year. probabaly about right for this car!
