Summer must be close.

Been a while :) Had to replace the starter and the Alternator this year :( Upgraded to a more modern A127 unit with higher output.
Used all the summer with no troubles to speak of but think I have bottom joints to do now and of course now the cold is here the heater blower has given up. My heater is ace as long as I don't slow down  The baffles in my front box are very noisy and for a change my manifold has rusted away
Must find time to pull her in the workshop and catch up with a few little jobs
All of these issues are age/mileage related and can't be moaned at considering the use and abuse :)

Really missed driving the P6 this winter
Been too busy, too cold, or both to get the few jobs done to make her usable again.
All up and running, been whizzed round the farm roads to keep things in motion but generally been parked up as below whilst I used a trusty Transit as my daily. Transits are rubbish in snow

As soon as the weather breaks, or the work slows, I'll be back in the driving seat :)

I have an 04 plate diesel Transit and it's brilliant in snow. My neighbour has an 04 petrol version and it's terrible.

Difference is that his is rear wheel drive and mine is front.

Yeah, not only am I a petrol kinda guy, I love RWD too much for my own good
Mine is an old MK 5 Tourneo, even with ballast it's winter traction is terrible  Great fun for drifting about when there is some grip though
Everyone said I should have got a diesel. Took me ages for the right petrol model to come my way. Now with the London emmision zones rules changing, the old diesels will be worthless in a year or so and not allowed in :| I will :D
