Hi All,
The seats in my P6 have been changed over the years from Buckskin leather to rare :? boxpleat creamish :? cloth/nylon seats see pics. Does anyone want to swap as i preffer leather seats these nylon seats are in very very good condition with NO damage at all but just not my cup of T

I dont know what P6 variant they came from they were swapped by my mate some years ago and he is braindead and cannot remember where he got them from  but they ARE p6 seats.

Have they got wrap-round plastic backs ? You may have something rare (and valuable) there
Wrap-round plastic backs explain please:?

I think the seats are the plastic backed ones by the looks of them in the photo... They were introduced in 1973 when the 2200 models came out and were supposed to give increaed knee room for rear seat passengers... It looks to me that these are some kind of peculiar 'hybrid' seats that has SD1 material used perhaps for experimental purposes...?! Whatever their story they certainly look exceptionally smart...

Well if anyone has set of Bucksin leather seats to swap they can have them or p/m me

Wrap-round plastic backs explain please:?
The back looks like one piece with moulded sides - They aren't like anything I've seen on a P6 so one of our seat experts might be interested

Dave, in the top picture they look like perfectly standard S2 seat backs, albeit covered in this rather odd material. In the lower picture something doesn't look quite right, I can't quite decide whether it is the top of the back being a poor fit to the contour of the seat (a common phenomonen) or whether there is some sort of pocket on the seat back. I wonder if CBV8 could add another picture to settle the discussion?

There you go BUT i have just found a slight bit of damage to back of front passenger sear by the h.rest mount where stitching has come away  which is a shame as the rest of the seats are mint really
