I have a 1971 2000SC with a damaged temp sender gauge.
Whilst I have been able to get a replacement from SG Walker thanks to the forum I have been unable to get the damaged one out. It would be fair to say it is a lot more damaged than when it was only a matter of a broken off spade. Thanks to my self and the local garage(who have used stilsons!) the faces are somewhat rounded.
I suspect that the alloy head and steel of the unit has caused some sort of 'welding' together.
Does the forum have any techniques or advice for removal of said unit?
