Is that 1972 in which case 40 years?
I thought it was 25 years?

The date for tax exempt status is December 31 1972, everything built from 1973 must pay, no rolling date anymore. It's a pain as it just leads to ringing and a low survival rate of post '73 cars.

By the way, good job on the Rover's, very handsome cars that are disappearing fast from the roads.

I can always tell a rare car when it takes 4 months to find one trim piece.

So the short answer is, i'm gonna be paying tax om my cars like it or not.
