Looking at fitting one on my 3500s , I reckon I need to unbolt the support plate on the NS of the bulkhead , remove the plate , slide the grommet down the shaft and reassemble ,Trouble is the bolts holding the support plate are right behind the anti-roll bar and a pig to get at . Is there any easier method ?

Hello Dave,
Remove the anti roll bar. It is only two bolts on each top link and the bar will then drop away. Refit it when you are done, and torque the bolts as per spec.
