According to The Mail on Sunday today, it turns out that Clarkson and his chums do not do the driving when it comes down to the fast stuff as televised on their made up circuit, and leave it to professional drivers instead. To quote the article, "they are tv presenters not professional drivers."
Am I surprised at all by this , in a word.......NO!!
Of course its made to look like Clarkson with the in-car camera footage, but the truth is Jeremy, you don't let go of a car steering wheel and let it self-centre whilst the car is in a full four wheel drift, whether its a Fiat or Ferrari, Lada or Lambo, Morris Marina or Masrati!!
