Hi Bri,

I'm new to the forum and searched for the reg TVY 201P as I have just purchased that car on behalf of my Dad and hope to be collecting it sometime this week! Im glad you have said that its a straight car as you can't always see all the problems when buying an old vehicle. If you have any fiurther information on the car I would be really grateful to hear from you.

Regards

Mike

I have a set of NOS Denovos. Rims, tyres & two boxed sets of trims. I bought them shortly after we bought our ex-Denovo car & in turn I'd only learned about them from the James Taylor book shortly before the car was offered to us.
She still has the carpeted boot & is missing the bracket for the spare wheel. I bought one of Steve Walkers false floors for her with the spare underneath but have a boot-mount lid to fit to her.

hi mike, sorry for late reply,i owned that car 4 about a year, wen i bought it the guy i bought it off had it on a car tilter and put new inner and outer sills on her and had all the underseal scraped off looking for rot but it all seemed good apart from the sills, with all that done he had it painted and ran it for a year,it then stood for a number of years with a failed autobox and a non runner,i than got my hands on it go it home, sent the gearbox off for a rebuild and set to getting the engine running, with all that sorted i then had it repainted again in its original pendelican white,it came with denovos and carpeted boot area and roof etc,i then sold it because i bought my 3500s,its a solid car that doesnt need much to make a real gem of a car hope this helps Bri :D :D :D

Thanks for that Bri, it does look like a very clean car which isnt that easy to find without spending a bit too much money. There are a few niggly jobs to do, the first one is to replace the carpets but we are looking forward to getting stuck in and bringing her up to scratch.

Im hoping later in the year to get myself a P6 and would really fancy a 3500S. we'll have to see what happens. :D :D
