Exactly a week since I bought my 1970 2000TC, been using it everyday without any problem-although it hasn`t been running as smoothly as I know it should!
Had a spare hour and thought I`d have a peek at the timing, carbs etc to discover that only one of the chokes is connected. This ain`t right surely? I`m waiting for a workshop manual to come from Mr Postie so should be able to rectify before weekend, but can anyone tell me if the cable I have which is attached to a quadrant type thingy near the bonnet hinge, goes to the choke on the closest carb? At present has been coiled up and left hanging around! Any help a bonus.
