upload pictures of all your p6's

That's an absolutely stunning collection of photo's, Rob! So good to see unexpectedly fragile and expensive cars out for a run in deep winter!

I know the roads round there quite well and a brilliant choice for a winter run.

Do we know the owner of the white roofed TC? I particularely liked the (Ashley?) bonneted Spridget and so rare to see a Celica out in action.

Chris

I didn't get a chance to talk to the TC owner. It looked nice, though one of the unidirectional tyres was on backwards (a pet hate..)

The Midget is a Williams and Pritchard Sebring conversion and is called Sebrina. From the owner:

"She was converted in 1967 by Williams & Pritchard, who were Lotus' in-house bodywork team in the fifties and who designed and/ or built bodywork for loads of UK iconic race and sports cars in the fifties and sixties including Lotus, Lola, Cooper, Costin, Gordon Keeble and others. Ashley were a contemporary, but just did aftermarket kit. W&P were proper designers and builders for serious marques, mainly in ally but were involved in introducing GRP to Lotus (consultants on the Elan) and dabbled on the side with this aftermarket kit towards the end of their existence. There are only about 6 midgets / sprites worldwide with the original 60s complete W&P combination, so she is a very rare thing."

the Celica was full of friendly dog :D

Terrific photos, Rob! Your 3500 looks terrific, and the conditions over the weekend were fantastic for photos, and going for a run! I recognise quite a few of the cars from various events that I've gone to spectate at, and I always think the Celica is unbelievably tidy! The Midget with the sebring conversion is very nice indeed! A good friend of mine has an Ashley top on his Midget.
Seeing your photos has meant that I now feel compelled to pop down to the Lakes at sometime over my Christmas holidays, in the P6! :D

Excellent photos Rob!

I don't have any other P6's close to my place, but on the other hand there is a good variety of classics.
A day out with a couple of friends...

Hi Rob,

Some terrific photos that you have posted there, must say it does look pretty chilly, frosty roads and an open landscape. As Tor suggested, a couple of your shots, views through the windscreen could certainly be posted in the thread of the same name if wanted to.

Ron.

My 2200 TC at the Southport / Woodvale show 2012, Picked up first prize on the Saturday, and third on Sunday, Well pleased.
I have owned this car since 1991 it has gone through a full restoration over the years finally finished in 2006 just in time of being 30 years from manufacture.and loving every Minuit of ownership. When the Nuffield next door started up a friend of mine who has and races a formula 1 stock car said mine sounds a bit rough cheeky sort.

Congratulations - your car looks nice and I do like that colour - is it richelieu red?

Hi, Yes it is Richelieu red in all it's 2 pack glory, The V8S I'm rebuilding is in the same colour a change from Zircon blue.
