USA Buick parts company website, FYI

I came across this USA company while googleing timing covers, and their catalouge makes for some interesting solutions to low oil pressure issues as the Buick V6 engines have similar issues with the RV8 engine seeing as they share common timing covers/oil pump set ups. pg 76 in their catalouge shows a booster plate to suit the oil pump which goes some way to solve low oil pressure/volume issues in conjunction with a oil pressure regulator on pg 79 and timing covers on pg 78. Also interesting is the idea that oil pressure is lost at the cam bearings and the modified cam bearings on pg 109. Adjustable pushrods pg 69, prepare for lots of drooling...

All in all, a very interesting read (for a calalouge) with lots of mention of parts suitability for the Rover V8/Buick 215.
Well worth downloading for reference when doing an engine rebuild.

The Buick V6 is based on the 215 V8 and is one of the most produced engines in history
TA developed some special cylinder heads for the 215/Rover V8 that appear to have only ever been made as a small run, some ended up with a Triumph/Rover specialist in Aussie
( US ) Hot Rod magazine ran an article in June 2009 about a TA Performance Buick V6 that was based on TA's own billet/machined block that dyno'd at an astonishing 700BHP...
Agree, their catalogue is amazing! The downside is, having tried very hard to secure a set of their cylinder heads ( and failing miserably, despite phone calls, emails and faxes ) I remain sceptical of the substance behind the form; albeit that the company has been around for ages and has a top rep. on State-side Buick forums
