V8 Engine Stabilizer Rod Assembly

Hello

I am looking for the complete assembly although I do have the rubber parts. I originally had the AC accessory bracket which included the stabilizer of a different setup but now I got rid of that, I just need the regular bits. It’s for NADA V8 but I don’t suppose that’s a challenge except for drilling the holes?

I can get you a photo if nothing is forthcoming. So at least you can recreate what you require.
I have a factory P6b with A/c

Hi

I should clarify that I no longer have the AC bracket in place so need the non AC rod.

I re-read my own post and even I didn’t quite know what I meant……

I might have something but its like finding the proverbial needle in a haystack in my shed at the moment. They are a lot more complicated then they look. The ends are turned down and threaded and there is a tube and double sets of dished washes that locate the rubber bits. The length of the turn down is important so the rubbers are not loose or overtightened. The regular engine end mount is a plate that bolts with three set screws to the end of the left size head. your AC compressor probably used the same three holes so you will have the screws. You may already have the inner guard mounting bracket as they also hold the coil or sometimes the windscreen water bottle. Possibly other air con bits might be on it.

Oh and keep all the parts you take off...The air cons system ducting has next to no fresh air intake (its all recirculated) and relies on the evaporator to keep the air cool. Despite what the mechanics will tell you you can get all the parts including the compressors (except the fully functional water valve but there is a close replacement for that)
