Which side of the weber is the advance pipe coming out of? from looking at the front - left or right.

Does the vacuum advance work? and have you spoken to Holly at RPI and asked his advice?

Richard

Oh, and please don't write in capitals as it is difficult to read and is considered shouting

Hi,

Being that you arent using SU carbs you may find v8forum.co.uk is more use in this instance... (I may well be proven wrong of course ;) ) and welcome to the forum.

Rich.

Webers, whether from RPi or not, never come exactly jetted to your installation. Even the exhaust arrangement and what filtering you have on the intake will affect this, so RPi can't be expected to have got it right just because they built the engine. In my experience, and that of several others on here, the only way to set up a non standard engine is to get it rolling roaded by someone who knows what they are doing. You simply don't get enough information as to what is really going on in the engine without being able to run it under load and with all the additional sensor equipment a rolling road has access to. Should cost around the £300 mark by the time you're done, and you'll spend that in frustration and good ideas long before you get the engine to run half as well as they will. If you let us kn ow where you are we may be able to recommend suitable establishments.

Chris
