V8, SU carbs, choke linkage

Hi all,

V8 almost certainly from a P6 (compression ratio marked as 10.5:1), fitted in a Stag. Choke linkage between SU carbs is missing, any pointers to part numbers and suppliers would be gratefully received!

Burlen tell me that the parts are Rover rather than SU.

Thank you very much Unstable Load, useful links. I've borrowed a photo from photo rocket on the other thread, clearly shows the solid, bent rod that I'm looking for. Any suggestions as to supplier or part number? It almost looks as if I could fettle something from a coat hanger.

Edit: just realised that the above photo is from a thread on the V8 forum, not Classic Rover forum.

You'd need something a bit more substantial than a coat hangar, but there's no reason why you couldn't make one if it came to that.

You folks up in Europe are spoiled rotten with the Rimmer Bros, Wins and even all the Scrappys around the show.:(
If I could figure out the Customs side on this end, I'd be over in a flash to fill a container with 4.6 engines and parts, Series Landy bits, Panels, chassis etc etc, but our Tax and vehicle import regs are such a pain in the proverbial, it's hardly worth taking the time to think about it.

Are you in the US ?
I have a friend who regularly ships to the UK and Europe out of Florida, I am sure that he can arrange shipments the other way.
I can PM his details if that would help.

You folks in the US can buy cheap Corvettes and Mustangs :) Shall we swop? 2017 Corvette with the steering wheel on the proper side at less than GBP60k would be in my lock-up tomorrow.
