After wasting money trying to rebuild the bottom end of my engine i've just had the quote from the engine shop on the rebuild. The block needs a rebore and a line bore so its going to be more than 600 notes! (all in)
So i'm doing what I was told to do (by a fellow P6 owner) in the first place and source a replacment engine.
Ideally I want a 2.0 sc auto engine, but I have a new auto spigot bush (in my replacment crank) for an auto so can convert a manual. A TC engine would be ok, would need some tweeks or just put my good sc head on it.
There is a 2.2 tc engine on ebay but that would require chatting to the insurance bods and would rather keep my old girl a 2.0 sc auto.
I'm after an engine that I can drop in and turn on so it must have been ran recently. I will pay for it, not after a free lunch here.
Please help to save a P6 from the scrap yard.
