Would anybody happen to have a pair of beige static seatbelt hangers, perchance?

The ones on the B-post, for when the belt's not in use. I don't know how many colours they were made in, but I'm told that my interior is sandalwood.

Have you thought about using a second set of coat hooks :?:
I can't quite see what type of belts you have but when i fitted static belts to Hermy i had the same problem,

I've exactly the same set as yours - grey Irvin statics (someday I'll get a set for the rear, mumble, mutter).

The coat hanger looks like a good fit, but where do I get them? :|

(btw: try some Autosol on the buckles - wipe away that pitting)

That hanger looks awfully like the widget that lives above the rear doors - a real coat hook! Even if it isn't exactly the same perhaps that would do the job?

Chris

I found out the hard way when i sat on the buckle and pushed it through the seat back
The belts came out of that S1 you had the bootlid from but the original hooks had broken off years ago, using the coat hooks seemed the next logical thing to do

You could try a scrapyard, but i guess scrap p6's are rare in your part of the world

Ouch, the Autosol bit hurt  ,you have to remember that Hermy is an everyday work horse, she is expected to do things from food shopping to hooking up the trailer and taking a years worth of hedge cuttings to the local recycling centre,
Gus,,my V8 (i know  )however is a different kettle of fish  ,

If you find youself having problems finding 2,....PM me 8)

If its the later grey type hook cap for the push button type irvins!!
They are rarer than sky blue pink elephants!!
Ive got 2 on mine,JUST!!!
Both only just hanging on,and quite often fall off outside the car,as they are only a push over fit onto the top belt mount!!
I am so paranoid at loosing them,I normally keep them in the glovebox if I am in and out of it all day,as its my daily driver!!
Been after a spare pair for years!!!
KEV??????????
ANYBODY??????

One thing that never ceases to amaze me is just how many different types of seat belt hangers Rover used in the production of the P6. Until I changed all my belts for new Securon ones over Winter, I'd always had the passenger hanger missing, and had been for as long as I can remember. Bearing in mind I was 4 when my Grandad bought my car, that's a long time! When I eventually posted a photo of mine asking if anyone had a spare one, I too, was greeted with the "I've never seen one of those!"

Goodness knows how many different types were in the parts bin!!

Bri.

The ones on my car are genuine Irvins, they have the chute symbol embossed on them!
They must have been fitted to other cars of the era??? MINI,JAG,DAIMLER to name a few that utilised Irvin belts!!
Problem being they can easily pop off the mounting point when you pull the belt off them, and they fall outside the car,you dont check and drive off, leaving it behind god knows where and how many miles away by the time you find out and then swear!!
I lost one of mine once in tesco's carpark,I got home, noticed, and raced back to tesco's fearing it had been run over and ruined! PHEW!!! I was in luck!
I have even used bluetack to try to hold them in place!!
If you think original boot mount badges are rare!!!
Try finding a set of these!!!

Sorry Dave,i can't help you with any spares because i've not seen anything like that in a rover either :?
My Hillman has something similar and to stop them popping off i used a cable tie under the hook, i know its not an ideal solution but it works.
