Wanted... Series 2 - 4 Cylinder Radiator

Well, its finally happened, my Radiator ahs finally given up the ghost, although somewhat nackered for a while, it is now well and truely gone.

I'm wondering if anyone has one in a hoard of spares, or know of a car being broken with a radiator thats in decent nick.

I am aware of a couple on ebay, however, I thought I'd check on here first to see if there's anything that on the go a little cheaper.

In Glasgow there are 2 firms that will recore your rad for £100-120. Probably get a similar price round where you live.

I have been down the route of 2nd hand radiators over the years and always end up with a recore at some point. A 2nd hand rad will get you out of a hole but I always prefer the recore for peace of mind.

I had my rad recored by Scotrad on Gorgie Road in Edinburgh. They turned it round in a couple of days for about £130ish I think.

I would say we have a good stock of radiators, and we do, but really and truly you're better off getting one re-cored.
