Was this forum offline last night (~10pm 14 May 2013)?

Was the forum offline yesterday? Kept getting "website not responding" errors! Was in desperate need of my daily P6 "fix"!!
 
So i was late for work , pulling my hair out trying to reconfigure my computer ( way above me ) trying to diagnose connection problems as it suggested ( again out of my depth ) And all the time the forum was on holiday :? :LOL:
 
i think the last 2 times this has happened has been when people have posted about the kitchen spam. Think they're attacking the site.

Need to get this moved so i can sort it.

If all the other sites you try to connect to are responding, it's generally the offline site itself. That's my experience anyway.

As for the spam, we're building our own kitchen so they may as well stop trying to get us to buy one. :LOL:

I did wonder if it was brought on by me mentioning his name, in which case I apologise.
 
Very pleased to see the forum back up and running again :D All of yesterday from around 0530 till after 2030, there was no connection.

Funny you should say that . I was reading Wikipedia about the kitchen bloke when the site went down
He clearly has far reaching powers !
 
Don't know Rich but I did notice the site was not accessible this morning. I started to get all panicky and then felt overwhelming relief when I could log on around lunchtime. If I don't get my daily Classic Rover Forum fix, I get all grouchy :LOL: .
 
11.30 am is 18.30 in beijing. It went off after 12.30 am which is 7.30 am in beijing. I have a feeling the site is being attacked in chinese working hours. Same could happen again tonight.
 
Well my PC got a big update this morning,then I couldnt log onto the forum, then my PC promptly crashed!
I did all the usual wiring,modem,power off/on stuff checking stuff!
Finally did a systrestore to 5 days ago and alls well now so far!
Must of picked up a nasty during the update this morning!
BTW the MGTF1500 is as good as sold!!
Its a weird one!!,so will post more later when all is finally finalised 100%!
