Webmaster - More news

Reapply glad it's going so well. I imagine for you at times it's been really tough, and of course your family. Only problem I can see in the future is your sis, she has loads of brownie points now and if she is anything like my sis you could be in for a bit of a bumpy ride  You take care and we will bump into each other soon, I'm sure

Good to hear things are going to plan Rich, glad too see your being very active on the forum must be like having visitors 24-7 sure you'll be home soon sorting that fantastic sounding extension

Good to hear things are ging well Richard.

It's amazing how tiring lying down can be but hopefully that will be a distant memory soon and you'll be cracking on with the garage and extension :D

Take care

Dave

Thanks for all the comments guys.

More news..... I can go home tomorrow !!! :D :D

Apparently I'm ahead of schedule, and have done really well. So now it's weekly testing and see how it goes. Fingers crossed.

'Ere Boss, Ive been thinking, this extension garage, bedroom and wardrobe. Sheer genius, are you having a gents wardrobe with a Bat Pole straight to the garage so you can enter the wardrobe in your jammies and appear in the garage in overalls and rigger boots. You're far too clever for me.

Now there's an idea, access through the bedroom en-suite "Just popping to the loo love..." straight down into the garage for some cutting / welding in the middle of the night

Brilliant news - nice one

Excellent news Richard! :D
I guess they must have thought that with all those plans and projects ahead you should start working soon.
Keep up the good spirit until it's completely over!

Been for a walk today, twice round the lifts, then a lie down ! It's amazing how badly you are affected by spending a long time in bed. Plus nearly 4 weeks without leaving the room, the outside world seems very alien !

So there is a good reason to have a sister , after all ?

Richard , leave it a week or 2 before you start digging the foundations !

That's very good to know! :D

Thanks Guys, well I got home on Tuesday as promised, it's soooooo great to be home, lovely comfy bed, fantastic home cooking, just perfect.

Stuggling a bit with muscle wastage at the moment, climbing stairs is a bit of an ordeal, but will be ok in a couple of days.

Did a bit of drumming last night, and my right calf is hurting this morning, maybe put a bit too much effort in  It's quite good excercise really, and you get to sit down :D

Been doing more prep work for the extension, got the cash sorted plus good contacts for architect, builder, plumber and electrician, so basically I need to the architect in and get planning application submitted, see how it goes from there. I had a chat with the next door neighbour and he's got no complaints from what I told him, so just the houses in front and behind to worry about, but hopefully should be ok.

Must be hard... Keep on drumming!

Nice work on the extension front. Sounds a great way forward!

Maybe you ought to get that bloke from Grand Designs in? You know, contemporary design featuring minimalist overtones with classic underpinnings complementing heterogenous form of the structure :D :D . Hope it works out and the planning goes without snags. But, take it easy.
