Hi Guys and Gals thanks for letting me join your group, I have recently purchased a 1973 P6 S, and quite delighted with it. Has been restored and is right up there. Cheers Bert Turnbull
Thanks, the car was restored by the previous owner and he purchased it. ( the plate) With personalised plates in NZ you do not ever own the plate but you own the right to use it, But still cost a lot to buy.Bert's car
Welcome, Bert! Nice ride. I like that number plate.

restored also by using a non-P6 exterior colour? I guess that´s not almond
Looks more like an MG colour, but remember that the NZ colours were a mixture of the BLMC colours at the time, as they were all assembled in the same plant.[/risw, post: 399298, member: 991"]Looks more like an MG colour, but remember that the NZ colours were a mixture of the BLMC colours at the time, as they were all assembled in the same plant.

Hi this colour is called Safron, and was only available in NZ and Aus. they were assembled at the Nelson plant of BLMC. A popular colour at the time for Triumph2.5 and Stags
thx - see my colours site
car is on my database since last year but didn´t know that she is on Swiss number plates nowYellow works nicely on these cars - definitely non-original in this case. This car is from Belgium (@Rudiger Wicke don't know if you know this chassis)
