What color?

First of all, Merry Christmas to all of you!

It's fantastic how visits with family over the holiday reveal how much you're slowly losing your mind. I was always so sure that my Dads 2000TC was a 1970 in zircon blue. Turns out it was a 1969 model built in '68 and was a dark blue.
I have been looking at quite a few pics on the net and the closest in color I have found is the estate model on Scott's rubber site.
Do any of you have a Rover this shade of blue and be able to share the color code?
I'm the kid on the left with the big ears..

Anyone know what the other cars in the picture are ?

I'm guessing of course,...but i'd say Buick and an Oldmobile of somesorts,...not sure about the colour though,....it seems a bit dark for Admiralty Blue

The standard colours were Corscia Blue and Zircon Blue. While it's not easy to be certain it seems too dark to be either of these so I wonder if this was a special order paint? It looks like admiralty blue which was a P5 colour

The other cars are a Pontiac - not sure which variety as some Canadian models were different to their US counterparts being built on Chevrolet running gear - and I think a Buick

Those were indeed the two UK colours, and I agree, much too dark for even the Zircon, which is the darker of the two by a mile. I've got a feeling there were some North America only colours as well though? Anybody got their North American brochures to hand for the 4 cylinder?

Chris

There's a '69-'71 2000/3500 color chart for sale on US ebay, Item number: 320304879050.
Of the two blues, zircon seems the closest.
The black car may be a pontiac laurentian, and I think the silver car was a chevrolet impala.

North American clours were the same as the home market at this time - I have an original colour chart and Corsica Blue is closer than Zircon but still rather too light
