can anybody help please were can you buy alloy wheels like the car on the website home page think they call them minulites to fit the p6 thanx

The larger sizes 13" and 14" are called "Superlites" and should be available http://www.superlite-wheels.com

If you search the forum, you should find a thread from a member who had a lot of trouble with some "fake" versions, so just be carefull what you buy.

Hi ROV71.The car on the homepage is my car.I have 2 V8's with the same wheels on.I am in the process of selling the car on the homepage. If it does'nt make what i want for it i will be removing the wheels and putting the standard ones back on.If you are interested in them e-mail or pm me.They are in excellent condition, tyres like new, only done 3000 miles or so. :)

Hello John, I've admired your car for some time. I checked classifieds and it's not there as yet, so you could PM me your price thoughts too if you wish.

BTW what is the exhaust, and is it still on there?

Just to point out that the wheels i have are not from SUPALITE.They are genuine Mini-Lite ones. They look different from the pictures in last years thread on them. They fit a treat, have 19mm chrome nuts that your existing Rover wheelbrace will fit on.

The real thing genuine Minilite's are still available - check out http://www.minilite.co.uk/ - you might find they are quite snooty about the quality of other people's copies. Judging by the above mentioned epriences of one of our forum members, perhaps with some justification!

Too bleedin' right! I think superlite have actually gone out of business now.

Since all the hassle last year I've finally taken them to court. Won by default since they didn't reply and the baliffs have been sent in.

Webmaster, I can't believe you have recommended them, maybe you missed all my posting last year but I'm sure you haven't dealt with them yourself. The only reason I went to Superlite last year was somebody else casually pointed me in their direction. I don't blame them of course since buyer beware applies in all cases. I was somewhat impatient to buy the wheels so wasn't as carelful as I should have been.

My somewhat biased opinion is alloy wheels are an expensive waste of time. Rarely any significant weight saving over a steel wheel.

Like i said. The wheels i have are MINILITE genuine articles.I have never had a problem with them and if any of you are interested i have a set for sale with newish tyres
