One of Mr Formby's better known songs. Our Greek 2000TC is moving towards its October 1st rally start deadline and we now have the electrics fixed, with one exception. The washer bottle, with motor on top, does not work and while our local auto electrician is trying to source a replacement in Athens I thought I would try the forum to see if anyone knows if there is a modern washer bottle with motor on top that would fit the 2000TC Mk 2 (1971 build). We have friends flying up from Australia in the next couple of weeks who have offered to bring it if one can be found in Oz and ditto from the UK. Any thoughts? Thank you

RIMMER BROTHERS have this item, which looks to fit on top of the stock bottle, if in doubt they stock the bottle for it as well.

Is the bottle the same as the V8 ? might help your search if it is.

The Wins looks like it is the std bottle cap with an easily found '12 V Washing Pump Motor' screwed on. A Haynes one spanner DIY job.
Looks good to me.

Thank you to all respondents for your advice but my excellent Greek sparkie found an after market bottle fitted just as well as an original so for the duration we will use that...and it works. Next it's the boot lid - how do you "tighten" the spring to keep it up? New thread starts.
