WHERE IN KENT ?? - Local meets.

Is there a regular meeting in Kent, I thought I saw mention of one some time back, meeting at a Pub in Maidstone.
(or was that the other Rover Club).

Unfortunately not, checking my old P6 News, there used to be one at Henry's Table, Newnham Court Inn, Maidstone, but during our recent update of all the meetings it appears to no longer be running.
 
Thanks Richard, thats a shame, maybe worth drumming up some local interest via the forum.
Has there ever been any stats carried out on how many club members use the forum or even the website?

Just a guess but probably most dont, and if that is the case and if that can be changed it would be really good. I would like to see a local meet here in Kent.

and....is there a list available of kent based members?

Thats a start, I wonder if the club can post a list of kent members, I dont mind sending out invites to them all. In my experience its best to have a meeting once in a while, as its often tricky to find stuff to fill a couple of hours noggin if its too regular.

I have a great summer venue in mind !!
I wont elaborate at present but it involves masses of car space and burger and chips on the house for all.
 
It would be Maidstone area actually Dave. I will give you an idea..............

I own a country Park cafe, and am willing to open up on a summers evening, and cook up some grub if I can get some lads (and lasses) together with their cars. Food and drinks would be on the house (probably donations to my fave charity the Kent YMCA and Salvation Army).

Would the club website, and/or the club magazine advertise this do you think. It doesnt have to be Kent only, anyone would be welcome.

Cheers Nick, Keep an eye on the forum, Im gonna try and drum up some support on here first, and then place an ad in the mag during May & June, for a meet in July or August.

Its gotta be worth a go, free grub, and a nice hot cuppa something on the house. Surely there gonna take up the offer eh ? There must be room for over 100 cars.

Yakes I could regret this.
