I've been trying to find what my cars colour really is. When compared to Monza Red pictures on net, it looks to orange. But when compared to Paprika pictures, looks to red. So where is the decal with paint name on hidden? Both of these colours where available on 1974 P6B.Thanks, Eric :)

They aren't hidden, they are on the inner wing near the big service label. Usually all the stickers are grouped together, however, if your car is NZ built it may not have the sticker and it may not be one of the 'official' Rover colours. Nelson built cars often used Triumph, Jag or BMC colours so it may be Pimento or something like that.

I was told by my mother inlaws BF who worked at the Nelson Rover plant (he was a painter) that my car is Pimento, so if it looks like mine thats quite possibly what it is, I can hardly argue with the man who painted it

Thanks alot for all your input. Down loaded some "Pimento" images to compare to mine, found them to red. Checked with colour samples on Triumph site and found" Vermilion" as a near perfect match.Sometimes called burnt orange red, found on TR8,MGB,etc.Great to finally know what it is. Do you know type of paint used at Nelson? Cellulose used on Triumphs. How many more P6's in this colour? It's a geat colour, people coment on it. I will need some for respray later, it's available in GB in aerosol cans at " autopaintsbrighton ",as well as tins 250ml to 5 litres.Again thanks, Eric. :D
