Winguard or bullet

I have been thinking about door mirrors.

I like the winguards on both doors for a nice balanced look.

Have also fancied bullet mirrors. Has anyone got a photo of the original rover bullet ones fitted to a p6? also how do the rover ones differ from the ones which are available new?

In my opinion, original Wingard is best, although Desmo do a very good very close to original mirror but just as hard to find.
Bullets dont give as much adjustment and dont look right on a saloon.
A while ago there were some that looked the part being sold on Ebay,,but they were smaller overall and of really poor quality.
As they are not handed, keep your eyes open for the odd really good one and buy it,,,
I snapped up a really great pair for £30 inc p/p last year.
Boxed n.o.s ones can make £100 each but you can find them at Pilkie prices if your lucky!

Hi , i got these off ebay . i.m stuffed for getting up the drive without mirrors , 2 inches each side . And the car only had off side mirror . They were around 40 quid , and they fit the holes left by the original wind guard . They have long base plate that'll hide any paint fading left by other mirrors . They are totally fitted from the outside , no removing door cards , trim . I like the look .
ps . Found a link to where i got mine
