Hi guys the intermittent wiper not working. Is this the switch behind the wiper switch which is at fault

often its the clear plastic pipe that runs from the delay unit by the wiper motor to the back of the steering binnacle and the little white toggle . It gets a split in it and wont sustain a vacuum.

My little white toggle was somehow duff, so no adjustment was available until I replaced it. But it's almost certainly a sponge issue in your delay governor.

Indeed the vacuum pipe on the motor end was split and hanging off. Done that and it seems to work. Though at one intermittent speed. Not the slowest pause.
