wire identification ??

Hi, i started fit the loom back into the car
Does sombody know where the purple wire must be fitted??
The wire comes out the loom directly at the wipermotor aria( left handed car)

Purple is normally lights, do you have under bonnet lamps? this could be the pick up point for them.

Hi, an dutch specialist have looked at another 3500 car but the purple wire is NOT connected, i hope i can find out why Rover put it in the loom.

bonnet lamps were optional on most models so if you don't have them fitted then this is what it is.

I don't have a photo of mine but perhaps someone could post a photo up for you.

on my nada bonnet i have a purple wire coming from the bonnet then i wires to a another purple in the loom
