Wonky Dash

It's been on my mind to sort out Jinx's wonky humped-back dash bottom at some point, but I have some questions.

Firstly, My dash mat was too short on the drivers side by about an inch, I bought a new dash mat at Stonleigh hoping to solve it, but that one is still too short. Some peoples seem to fit fine, is it my dash or the mat that is the problem?

Secondly, the actual changing over of the bottom dash, is it relatively straightforward or are there any pitfalls to look out for?

And lastly, are there any tricks for getting my original dash bottom to straighten out, or is it just a case of finding a better used one?

Thanks people!

Find a good one I think.
Your shelf will be the cause of the short mat I suspect.
AFAIK, you'll have to take your dash instruments out but apart from that it's all just small nuts & bolts I think & relatively straight-forward. The shelf is the only thing left in the interior of POE the donor now & straight too, so I think Fay the aircon could do with it as hers is a little warped.

Ha... I thought you were leading up to offering me a nice straight dash bottom there.

Thanks for the info, I'll keep my eyes peeled for one. There's one on evilbay at the moment but you can't tell how good it is from the picture, and I've had it buying unseen parts of there now unless they're DIRT cheap.

Sorry!
Poe has surrendered most of her parts for me. The only thing I sold was the roof. Fay the aircon is getting Poe's interior too.
