Oh, so that's the car you went to see where the owner was too stubborn on the price. In which case, and after seeing your last post and picture, I feel sorry for the car (and yourself) but not for the seller :)

That may have been a different car Adam, there was no real negotiation on this one. It was horrible.

The guy who'd done all the resto had had handmade carpets put in which looked really good (but they were wrecked by the water).
 
Sorry to hear that Nick, I'm glad I didn't go then :( The pics he's put on eBay must have been taken years ago then if it's now sitting in a field neglected, what a waste. Was it rusty?
