XJS with ?spoiler?

I'm not too clued up on Jags but what is the deal with this spoiler? I'm sorry, but it looks ridiculous to me. Then again I've never been a fan of spoilers unless they're the little ducktail ones.

It's hideous, especially on an XJS, but on the plus side...

I also have a plane bootlid if you don't want the spoiler, you get them both.

If I was selling, I'd swap them now and don't tell anybody about the spoiler.

Haha, those were my thoughts exactly! He's a retired gent so he should be old enough to know better than to stick that bl**dy big thing on there! Bless him.

It is a rare dealer fit option to enable the taller gentleman to push his XJS to the side of the road with good grace and a modicum of decorum in the event of a mechanical malfunction. It will probably have two polished patches from frequent use.

Does anyone have any photos of a spoiler on a P6?? I've never seen one fitted although I'm not sure I'd want to, I'm just a little curious

I don't think I've ever seen one, nearest thing I've seen is Chris' high level brake light, but I doubt that generates much downforce

The same as would be on Cortinas and Escorts.

I Remember those my neighbours son put one on his white p6 leaving the spoiler in black how it came out of the packet not sure of the look :|
but thought they suited the essex boy racer look better
