The 1960 Morris 1000 2 door given to me arrives tomorrow morn!!
Its more than likely only good for parts, but you never know!!

And I am negotiating a deal for 2 of the stash of 30+ CARS.
A 1976 Stag 3lt original engine,manual/od+hardtop and 1966 Morris 1000 conv,more info on these 2 if/WHEN a deal is done!
Both bodily sorted and painted!! :D
Morris has a new full leather seat, door card trim kit,new hood and wool carpets, new minilites with tyres.
Both need time and TLC,and probably a few more £££'s to complete, but the hard work is done!

That lot should keep me bust for a while!!!

There's no helping some

Moggy is better than some you see out and about :)

The others look good too

The grey minor is bodily straight with a few rust niggles, but its crossmember and a few other area's are rusty.
A good prod and poke tomorrow will reveal all.
Red leather seats have had covers on from new,are bumrubworn, but not split or saggy, just losing their red colour a bit,and carpets are home made but do the job.

Nice one Dave, :D
look forward to hearing more. I've always liked the stags and my boy is currently working on his 2 door 64 minor.

I don't know how you do it... I really don't... I've dreamt of falling on a horde like that.. I wouldn't mind that stag, though... Lucky B**tard... :D

Just for those of you who are feeling a little green, heres a pic or 2 of the stash!
Didnt spot it before but theres a mid 50's MGTF under cover and an MG YA!!!
Also a Ferrari,alfa's, fiat's,MGBGT's,MG magnettes,2 x P4, P5b, Herald conv,10+ morris 1000's etc outside!

Wow, that's incredible, never mind the cars, I'd kill just for the garage !

P.s. I'll have the ferrari please, £200 scrap value ?

As expected the rust is pretty terminal,,BUT,,, :D ive freed off the eng and clutch and it starts and drives up and down the ramp, and sounds really sweet, but no brakes! :D

The ferrari pictured is actually one of the few very well executed Alfa based replicas, was nice till it blew up and mark bought it cheap,he never did fix it!

What a collection, a Bristol Beaufighter, and is that a Fulvia Zagato in front of the bookcase? I guess the Calthorpe is the No5 car?
Awesome finds.

John.

At least I will have a nice supply of good s/h parts and a running eng/box if anything is needed for the blue convertible if/when the deal is done!

Well done on the temporary additions, Dave. The grey minor looks very tidy. I used to run a convertible, but I can't visualise the cross member you're talking about. Have you a picture?

Chris

From memory it'll be where the torsion beams mount roughly where the seats are, I remember replacing the whole thing on my friends car.

Thats the fella!!
Missing a good 1ft either end incl jacking point, also floors both sides near sill edges, front inner arches where it meets floor and front n/s chassis rail!
It is probably very doable, but with the amount of minors out there and the price you can buy one,it would either have to be a very loved family member, low miles and exceptionally good in all other areas,or a really tasty reg number to make it worth while doing!
I will not be doing any more with it,until I have the convertible, and see what I may need.
Its possible I will sell it on complete as an ideal project for a classic car novice wanting a 1st resto to play with.

Blue convertible sold to another, but found out it wasnt a genuine one,so a bit of luck really! :)
Still got to see him about the Stag again, and will go with cash in my pocket to wave at him as MONEY TALKS!!!
And as I no longer need it for spares I have sold the freebie grey 2 door morris 1000. :D
Jensen sold via Ebay in 13 minutes, the Morris took 3 hrs!
On to the next!! :)
Got a 1 owner very low miles 1985 TVR 280i, locked in garaged since owner died in 1995 in the pipeline and recently spotted and sussing out a 1965 TR4a!
