You like these wheels ?

Hello Rudiger,

I have seen wheels like that before somewhere... :? I am thinking KiwiRover has some,..but I might be getting some of his wheels confused with someone elses.

Ron.

Are they vauxhall/opel wheels? Had some like that on my 1979 opel manta... ( although i thought that was 4 stud - senator and carlton were 5 stud though...)

They look like Cosmics.

Yep definitely Cosmics, they obviously look a bit different in a five stud, they're usually four stud like you'll see on minis and the like.

I actually quite like them and I think they suit it well.

I would love a set of these, they would pair with my Austin that also has cosmics fitted.

It thought you had a set of 15" for a Rover there and I came over all funny, but the 145 section makes me think otherwise, What are they off? Volkswagen?

They would look nice on a P6!

They might be 145 section, but they look a bit stretched on there!!

Yeah... You'd never get a P6 owner reducing his tyre width, must be a V-Dubber because they love that 'My car might kill me' look  .

Jinx would just leave (skinny) black lines everywhere on 145s. 8)

Skinny rubber means your car goes round corners a little better but loses out on ride quality. Our ford focus (poverty spec) has 16" wheels and almost every other model comes with 17s. I'd prefer it to have fatter rubber as although it corners fantastically its really overkill for the public roads and makes it far more jiggly than it needs to be!

Smooth is the way...

Rich.
