Hi all,

My name is Chris and i live down in Rainham Kent, just bought my first Rover a 1972 2000TC in White with black leather. This is now my 5th classic started at 15 with a 1972 MGB GT then 1967 MG Midget, 1956 Wolseley 15/50 and 1964 Austin A35 Van.

I use my Rover as a daily driver now as an estate agent im out all day in the car and shes never failed me (touch wood). Hope you guys dont think im a young driver here to race the car around adding subs in the boot and spoiler etc.. (got a little shunned as an old memeber on the Wolseley register for being 21)

Anyone else down this side of town??

Sparky came from Rainham - I thought it was in Essex though :?:

There were several about down there accodring to the old owner.

Welcome aboard

Richard

Welcome, excellent array of cars on your list :D

Nice to see another young member grabbing the bull by the horns and being different to the crowd 8)

Hello and welcome from a fellow new young member, I could only get insurance on an SC myself but I really like it.

Hello chris001, it's great to have a good spread of ages as each generation have different perspectives to offer (hopefully knowledge from the more experienced guys though!). There was a good spread of ages at the P6 Club National Rally at Rugeley last Sunday too which is promising for the future of classic motoring in general.

I thought I was one of the youngest on here at 34 but it seems not anymore.

Anyway enjoy your car and the forum. Does your car need any work to do it up or did you buy a nice one to start with?

She's actually very solid, no rust on any of the inner panels, a few bubbles on the off side from wing, it's had brand new sills both sides and repsray in the last 2 years, new carpet set and retrimmed leather front seats for £750!!! All she needed was a service and a quick balance of the carbs and she now runs great

You'll not find any of that small mindedness here Chris

It actually doesn't matter if you're intending to modify your car, or even paint flames down the side. We're here because of the car.

Welcome,

Bri.

Whacking great CB aerial and fluffy dice..... hold on a minute...that was the 70's

Or we could go 90s with the spinning wheelrims and powered shocks... go a bit snoop doggy dog on it...

(Could you do that to the shocks on the P6???!)

P6 with flourescent underside lights

Rich, they'd fit nicely where the sill covers should be.

Ohh nooooo

They need to be right underneath so you just get the glow.

The angle where the sill covers are can be utilised with some nice chrome side pipes.
