    Ultimate indulgence for a P6

The registration is older than a Rover P6, so it could be assigned to a P6.

    Decal Placement Reference Library

Thanks, hopefully it will stay clean tomorrow on the drive up to the P6 Club annual rally at Gaydon! I believe there was also a similar label for the choke, I would really like to find one.

Remember when we thought a P6 was a normal sized car?

Here’s my Mini parked next to a P6. My Mini is the smallest variant, the 3-door hatch, but still manages to make the P6 look small!

    What Battery?

I just fitted a Varta D15 to mine, the terminals are on the other side, but the cables reached. Thanks to @clive P62 for recommending the battery to me a few days ago.

    tyres

Much less noise than the Nankang tyres that I removed and although I have power steering the Blockleys made the steering noticeably lighter too.

I fitted Blockleys to my V8 last year, the correct size and speed rating - 185 HR14 (also known as 185/80). I am very happy with them and they have a great vintage look.

Do these wheel trims have a name

I wonder whether I am the only person on here to actually prefer the look of the standard series 2 wheel trims. A couple of people have suggested that I change mine for the ‘S’ trims but I really prefer the standard look. Each to their own I suppose!

Thanks. I am going to get the wing mirrors removed, the holes filled and the wings repainted. I prefer them when they only have door mirrors.

Hi Jon Yes I saw your original posts on here. Rest assured that it will be cherished, it will be used but very sparingly. If you are ever around in NW London and fancy a drive out in the P6 then let me know.

    My latest purchase

It did turn a few heads! With regard to the bonnet hinges, the whole under bonnet area was prepared to show condition in the mid-90s and has worn the years very well.

Hello everyone I am a new member, I live in NW London I collected my 1974 Rover 3500 yesterday, I had been thinking about another P6 for a while now, I had a Lunar Grey 3500 between 1995 and 2001 as my first car, so some 21 years later I now have another one. I knew my latest Rover P6 and...
