There is a trend here this summer and I am sure some of your will disagree but... are 4 pots that are in exceptional condition pushing the price brackets?
It used to be, not so long ago that £2K bought you a really nice condition 2000/2200... now that price seems to be nearer £5K or more.
For...
If any of you are familar with the wire wheels that were an option on the 2000tc.
My car has a set made in 2006 by MWS - http://www.mwsint.com/custom/FitmentGuide/DisplayEntry.asp?category=87&carId=FG000137&make=RO&CarYear=
The car has probably driven around 6000 miles on the wheels and I seem...
Is anyone familiar with the differences in the rear hubs, when a wire wheel hub is fitted?
I have been investigating some movement, which I thought was a worn outer UJ on the near side, which turn out to be dirt on the hub/wheel facings.
It's just that I was surprised to see no locking washer...

Does anyone know the story here.... Second time I have seen the car for sale in 14months.
Think it had some diff work at D&G Classics... Nick?
Kinda of tempted.... as City Grey with a red interior on a TC (and its a 2200) would be my ideal P6 + plus...

I owned this car from Sept 96 to April/May 97 and used it as my everyday car. I have always wondered what happened to her.
At the time she was on around 50000miles and I bought her from a neighbour for £2500.
She had a few blemishes on the wings...
It's all been a little quiet on the "spotted on ebay" part of the forum, so heres something that is worthwhile that may not sell for a lot

Seems to have had a lot of work done and is a presentable car.
Just thought I would flag this up, as I know that they are difficult to come by. Nick Dunning helped me locate one back in March. A new stainless steel made to order rear box is £300!
This is the correct oval type for £50, heavy duty mild steel...
I would like to ask some advice about early 2000 exhausts, but first off I thought I would say hi, as I haven’t been on the forum for over 6 years and I haven’t owned a P6 since 2006.
With the help and advice of NickD, I bought Simon Hill’s beautiful 1964 Wedgewood blue 2000. I almost bought...

Has anyone one seen this? I wonder if it will get the £21,995 asking price.
Would love this piece of history.
I noticed with interest the other day, that my 2000tc runs on sometimes for a second or two after switching off the ignition.
Like all other 2000tc models that I have owned.
The interesting thing was that when it runs on, it seems to run backwards !!!
Switch off ignition, engine stops dead...

Topped up the engine oil yesterday to the high mark, it did take a bit of oil, as it was almost on the low mark ( al least a litre of 20w50) and I noticed on starting the car that it puffed a little blue smoke out on idle before warm. Since I hadn't started the car all weekend, and the blue...
